If you’re a starter, it’s best just to settle on a freeserver like Geocities or Freewebs until you can purchase your own domain name. In my opinion, I don’t think a person should own a domain unless they can make their own graphics, code their own html/whatever, and learn how to use a FTP program.

I was booted off my last hosting company for creating a website where I was getting thousands of users signing up each week and they had a limit of 200 emails sent per day (new email sent with registration, password change, etc…).
