My company currently has a web store hosted “in house” but we are trying to move our services and web store out. Does anyone have a good suggestion for a web store? We looked at Go Daddy and was impressed but until a new employee told us the horror story his last company had using them. Does anyone have any suggestions to a full featured web store with as few bugs as possible? We have less then 100 products to sell but our store is already a viable living breathing part of our business and we can not afford much down time.

How do I transfer current joomla files over to yahoo web hosting?

I am currently using the joomla 30 day demo trial. How do I transfer the files that I already made on the demo site to my yahoo hosting account? All my files are in the back-end editor and I am not sure how to transfer them to my host site. Please help this neophyte joomla user!!!

Joomla doesn’t have a 30 day trial. It’s free to begin with. You probably have a 30 day trial on some hosting service.
To move Joomla from one hosting to another one I recommend using Akeeba backup extension. It will save you a lot of time. It allows you to back up complete Joomla install (including files and database) on one server and restore them on a new one. It will take care of all directory re-mappings etc. Otherwise, if you do it manually over FTP you may end up with non-working install until you tweak all directories etc.

FTP is it BT or Web Hosting company blocking access?

Suddenly having problems using FTP from my Home Hub 2.
How can I check if the FTP access problems I am having are caused by BT or by my web hosting company? I have two BT accounts one of them (business line) works fine with FTP to my web hosting company, however when I try to FTP from my home location (which I have been doing fine for years) there is now a connection issue.
I have looked through lots of forums but nothing seems to identify what the definitive problem is…
Has anyone got any ideas.

If the only problem you are having is accessing an ftp account and other internet access is ok, then its probably the web host.

If you had entered an incorrect password multiple times within a few minutes, the web hosting company probably blocked your ip address. They do this to prevent brute force attempts.
